Driving lessons for a 16 year old

Any of you guys found somewhere like an old airfield where I could do this? I'm in East Dorset/West Hampshire.
It's his Birthday this month so I think it would be good to give him some car craft - not it the Tamora I hasten to add. It will serve a dual purpose, in that it will hopefully help him in passing him test and give him a bit of a monthly treat.
We are looking at sensible driving in 14 year old car with 170k miles on the clock, so not an excuse to escape a couple of ASBOs
. I've heard the comments made by a neighbour, to another neighbour, and she's thinking ASBO anyway. And that's before I get a LOUD exhaust
