RFactor Nordshleife

Does anyone know where I can can get this that works. I've downloaded it a couple of times, but keep getting a MAS error, whatever the hell that means. Where should it be extracted to? Game data/ layouts? Thanks.

Are you downloading the "Nordschleife 2006 Full Install" from here - www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Nordschleife%20All%20Road

If so and I can't remember what the installer says or does but if you uninstall it to your desktop have a look at it's structure, find the locations folder in it and see where it puts things. You will find that the files need to go in the Neurburg folder as it uses parts of ISI's modern GP track.



If not just extract whatever it is to your desktop and look for the locations folder open it, highlight everything in it (drag a box around everything or select all) and either drag and drop into your locations folder in your rfactor install or copy & paste into it.

am i right in thinking you need to do that for PCC GB as it uses some of the germany files?

PCC GB for me installed to a separate folder, it uses search paths within it's files to look at the PCC05 German folder for the car models.

Just tried what you said and it says the the file is corrupt. Is this the version of the ring that you need to use to race online?

Is this the new version of the Nordschleife?

If so I had problems with currupt archives downloading this version, however the two smaller archives (same files split into two) worked fine

Well, depends which one is on the server but if you have both you can't go wrong. The other one was the one that was on the server the other day.
