I practised the caterhams last night because I thought it'd be them! (will have some proper comments after me dinner).

edit: 10 mins is a very short race.

what about 25 mins and a 1 hour finale?

We might need to test the Porsches tyres in a few longer practice races. They don't tend to stand up too well after just 10mins. yes

How about 25 mins + pitstop then? Adds an opportunity for people to cock things up too which is always good for a laugh

Off topic but what happens to mods when rFactor is reinstalled - do you need to install them all again?

Edit: And while on that topic, how do you actually carry out the reinstallation?

For me the time is a bit late as it will be 10:30pm here and I try to sleep at 10pm.
8:30 (uk time) would be ideal but if you guys cant do it, dont worry.

Sunday at 9:00pm would be ideal (just after Top Gear )

I'm not always available in the week but Sunday nights are generally an early night ready for work on Monday (and to recover from the weekend hehe) and therefor preferable thumbup

Sundays are preferable for me for actual league races. I don't mind when the practice events are.

1 39 xx or something is my best for Toban Long. But I've only played it twice. I was typically putting in 1 41s though.

What is it with these bloody porches, I shift down a gear or two, and the arse just flyes out !!!
WTF am I doing wrong ?

Only some cars seem to do that.

Probably due to shifting down too quickly, or you could try a less twitchy setup. Go to rfactorcentral.com, look in setups for the 'Ring and download the "Flying Finn's" set. I find it understeers too much, but I'll be using it for the league because it's rock solid stable.
