Tyre Mix on 997??
Discussion
Just a quicky on a well thrashed topic
My 997 2s came supplied new with Pirelli Tyres, as with most rear wheels cars I reckon on 2 sets of rears for every set of fronts.
The question is can I keep my p-zeros on the front while putting a new set of Michelin pilots on the rear??..The guy at the garage said no probs..but he would. Anyone done this?? Thanks.

Yes you can have different tyres on the front compared to the rear - however, if you listen to Porsche then you should Ideally have the same make of Rosso or Michelins all sround - as they were specifically designed for the car - didn`t you know! I have used both an do prefer the Pirelli, espcially in the dry even if they do not last as long as the Michelins
