This is how I do it for my Chimaera Link. You'll have to bring it along to a NEPH meet sometime.

As far as I know they are. The clean & seal method should be good for any fabric roof. These fabrics are tough; they can stand quite vigorous scrubbing.

Best stuff is "Renovo" - effectively a fabric paint which is great after gentle cleaning with a stain remover and gentle wash with warm water and good old washing machine powder - something like Dreft for wool fabrics - mohair is a natural material and should be cleaned like any other fabric. Regular cleaning should keep it in good condition. Then get some Renovo plastic window restorer and job done!

hi all, i was told by a guy who re-trims cars that a mohair hood should never have any sealer put onto it. a good clean is sufficient to keep it functioning and looking good.

In theory this may be true but in TVR world mohair hoods leak. There's no harm in applying liquid silicon and it actually refreshes the hood, brings out the original colour.
