Your wish is my command, apex. It's a lot easier to restart that thread, rather than spend the next hour deleting the crap. Gentlemen, start your engines! (And keep it civil this time)

I've just got my car this week and am absolutely delighted with it. However as part of the "the bonding exercise" (no chains involved as yet) I've got a couple of queries which I know owners out there (and that includes you Flasher and Benno ) might be able advise about.

- ) Tyre Presures - handbook advises 28psi. Owners sticking to this or are there better settings to be had.

- ) Dipped Beam headlights - project about 20ft in front of the car (it might not be 20ft but it seems a very short throw to me), can these be adjusted at all without dismantling the car.

- ) Are you guys getting any significant wind noise (easy tiger) around the drivers door. Having a look at it the window doesn't butt up tightly to the frame completely. Can the dealer adjust this or will I have to learn to live with it

- Passenger seatbelt runs fine but had a wrestle with the drivers side which jammed. Eventually gave up (after 5 mins of gentle teasing !!!) went for a drive. Tried it again and it was fine. Ontop of that at 6ft 2 theres plenty of room but the seat backs are annoyingly squeaking on the roll bars over the door

This is not a build quality thread/gripe, quite the contrary I'm pretty impressed and expected these little things. Just wanted to see a) if others had come across the same and what if anything could be done about it before the 1000 mile service.

P.S Its very very low and already as I've learnt the hard way gentling grounding it out at a junction with different gradient slopes. Must try and avoid speed humps at all cost

Thanks for any advice.

erm thanks Nubbin but I've gone all shy and can't think of anything to post

Anyway took a fair bit of advice from the guys in the previous thread. I no longer have squeaky seats, the tyre pressures (trying 22/24) give a much more compliant ride as well.

At the mo and I'm just really starting to press on as allowed by the running in restrictions this car feels better than my old 993 (and I loved that as well). The T350 corners flatter, the clutch and gears are so tactile and all in all its a pretty relaxing car to drive. Blasted along the B660 (Bedford to Peterborough road test route) and had a ball at sane speeds.

Yeah - couldn't agree more Apex. Mine's coming in 4 weeks or so and these threads are helping to keep me sane!

Went back to Hexham for (as Tony said) my fix! Best drive yet - what a fantastic car - I can't wait!

Wrt tyre pressures, the Service Manager at the factory advised me on Friday that the Tamora 18 inch wheel tyre pressures should be 24 psi - presumably the same for the T350?

Techy question

My dipped beams really need adjusting and I noted today when I had the bonnet open (no it hasn't broken down) what appeared to be two long adjuster screws around each light lens. Can anyone confirm if these are indeed the light adjusters and which one is for up/down adjustment (looking down between the bonnet and front of the car there seemed to be 2 adjusters 1 easy to get at the other a little more tucked away)

Enlighten me please t350 ers

Snakes - I felt the same when all the cars around Mar 1st started arriving. It'll be worth it (although running it in is a bit of a pain)
