computer desk.. this is cool
Discussion
Before the advent of computers people who worked on desks tended to work on stuff which was on the desk top (ever wondered where the term "desktop" came from?) so although I can see the ergonomic arguments against this, is it really any worse than using paper on a desk?
The screens would have to be touch sensitive though, running Windows tablet version or similar, to get the best from it. Having to use a keyboard and mouse wholly negates the concept IMO.

On a normally desk, the items you need are close at hand.
When your working on a larger sheet (A3 and above) it is easier if the surface is angled.
A drawing board that architects use for example.
A computer screen is normal parallel to you face or slightly angled.
This is the best setup for workers.
Watching TV/DVD does not require strict setup. You can rest in a chair on the floor
in bed and still get a good view.
In short, computer use requires you to read text, click menus and buttons which rely on a good resolution screen.
Most TFTs/LCDs/Plasmas are viewed best right in front.
