Went off to work for a month, so wedged 2 pieces of taped wood between roof and glove box. Success ? - no, made no soddin difference so I just live with it.

the top is stuck onto the opening hinge bit. You need to remove the top and reglue it in a better position. Most are a tiny bit misaligned due to the exacting tolerances used by TVR.

At least we have a glovebox.

It's more a fridge than a glovebox on mine. One of those occasions when stupid design from TVR leads to an exclusive design feature. How many other cars on the road have a fridge?

My cover is wonky as well and I've seen threads where people have straightened them. At some point I will take the cover off the plastic formed hinge and fit a rigid liner before glueing it back.

i had a fiat stilo a couple of years back and it had a vent that could be opened in the back of the glove box to have either cold air for drinks etc or hot for my chipper supper. if that was on a tvr you could cook a 3 course meal with the heat from the engine.

You'd need a T350 and a Griff depending on whether you wanted cold drinks or a cooked breakfast

There are believe it or not 3 different evolutions of the glove box lid. The final one is the best obviously and is made from a different material. Also the spring tension can be altered to stop it flapping, and the magnetic disc holds in place. the lid on mine is Mk3 after previously being Mk2. It will bite your hand off now! Pity the factories shut.

hehe Mine does that - needs 2 hands to get into and rummage now and shuts like one of those nasty letter boxes that eat fingers. I prop it open with a pencil/can of coke if I need a spare hand.

I've just bought a T350 with exactly this problem. Thanks for info. What cost is a 3rd evo replacement?
