New Phone Line? - Anyone But BT!

As BT can't ever be bothered to answer the phone, call us back or help us in anyway, other than leave us waiting on the phone for 50minutes for nothing, can anyone recommend a good telephone service company who can supply us with line connection and a memeroable (local area code (not 0845/0870 ETC) telephone number/connection. Please. Thanks.
Yes, Us. www.southern-comms.co.uk I will pm you my email I work on the systems side however we do look after calls and line as well via BT Wholesale (which is still BT it just means you don't have to deal with them - and you pay slightly less for your line rental)
