WHAT OIL GUYS ?

HI ALL. RECENTLY BOUGHT A TUSCAN 2001 SPEED 6.ITS DONE 28000 MILES! ANY 1 GOT ANY IDEAS WHAT ENGINE OIL I SHOULD BE USING? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.CHEERS!!!!!!

Generally regarded as a bit thin (I know TVR recommend it) and likes to dissapear down the exhaust pipes. The tolerances in the S6 engine aren't that close you see.

For that sort of milage, the general consensus amongst those in the know is to use 10-40w to 15-50w.

the oil ways from the bottom end up to the hollow cam shafts especially the outlet are not an easy route so the thinner the better for flow especially at fire up when the top end is under most wear and stress. I believe 0-40, 10-40, 15-50 have the same viscosity when up to temp anyway.

2nd that 0-40w burns very quickly!
