Looks like the current 05 with some sort of 80's french coupe grafted onto the back. Hate it

Ouch, that's a bit harsh!

How about this for a rear end? Best modern take on a '68 I've seen yet lick

Ah yes, but then you hated the new Camaro when that first came out, and now you want one on your drive hehe

True - but that was because the design was so radical and I'd still probably prefer it if it were less "in your face". However, it looks good on big wheels - the question is whether it will arrive on them and whetherr the production model will live up to the concept. This redering is different, it's instantly unlikeable just like the Corvette C6 was and still is. The Challenger still beats all of them.

That looks better. The back is my least favorite part of the current Mustang although it looks better in the flesh than in photos. That first photo you had up reminded me of the bread van looks of the early 70's Mustangs. I love them but don't think that look suits the 60's look of the rest of the car.
