My Sachs X-Road has a 125cc Suzuki engine. It's only done 900 miles, but just recently its started cutting out when I'm waiting at traffic lights. Does anyone know how I can alter the idle to stop it cutting out?

Cheers.

does it cut out suddenly, or gently die?

with the bike not running look at where the throttle cables go on to the carb.

There will either be a sort of wheel on the side with the 2 cables attached to either side or 1 cable going in to the top of the carb.

If the wheel type with 2 cables open and close the throttle while looking at the wheel.
when the throttle is closed the wheel should come back to rest against a screw.

turn the screw about hallf a turn in to stop the wheel coming back so far.
This has effectively opened the throttle slightly.

If you have the single cable going into the top of the carb there will be a small screw on the side of the carb where the slide goes up and done

Again half a turn will lift the slide slightly.

has the bike been serviced recently?
Tight valve clearances will cause this stalling also.

If all else fails a new plug is always a good try.

have you altered the bike atall?
changed the air filter or exhaust??

Cheers odyssey. Just bought some Pro FST, so will give that a go. The bike's totally standard BTW.
