Griffith Alarm

My alarm has recently stopped bleeping when I alarm and disable the alarm. It is the standard original kit, and my Griff is a '95 500. Any ideas anyone? Cheers

Siren filled up with water? It's in prime position for this to happen...

I have a 95 Griffith too, but mine had the original system replaced with the later Meta system a couple of years ago. Should this beep when I arm / disarm? The only time I noticed it do this was when I'd left something open as I recall - bonnet was up, one of the doors / boot may have been ajar... The rest of the time it is silent - unless I set it off!

If its the old Gemini alarm, the right button is for silent arm/de-arm and the left one beeps.
Hav tried both buttons to be sure?

Mine used to bleep once to set alarm and three times on disarming or if a door was not shut properly it also made a different sound. The key fob has two buttons and one (can't remember off hand which) could be used for a silent mode. Neither button gets a bleep now so there's definately summat up!

It is either a corroded connection going to the siren or the siren its self. Very common problem.
