First the 996 Carrera 4 badged as a GT3.

Now THIS Cayenne V6.

Why do people feel the need??

Henry should probably call his gaff "911TurboVirgin" and stick in a little 'turbo' badge.

People feel the need to do this, because they are very insecure, and having the best Porsche they can afford doesn't quite cover all the bases.

That colour combo is awful - but I like it.

I think it looks ok but then I've got a Lapis/Savannah combo 996 so in the eyes of all the "safe" grey/silver with black/metropole owners I must be a tasteless magoo-alike!

We specifically left the turbo badge on to give you something to talk about. I`m surprised it`s taken you so long

the state of the Nation...

The Germans and French tend to debadge the TOP models, we debadge (or badge-up) the low models....

That is so wrong.

Amusingly i bet the turbo badge on that serves only to get the driver more UNwanted attention than anything else, i.e. from the greenies.

These are the sort of cars that give the Porsche owner a bad name and appeal to the Porsche stereotype of "it's more important to be seen in one than to own the one I wish to be seen in". Very sad if you ask me, "I have the badge, and that's so much more important than the engine, suspension, chassis" etc etc etc

Surely the greater crime was to replace the VW Tourag badge with a Porsche one!

De-badging top model - cool.

Re-badging base model - very, very sad indeed.

Have you muppets read the spec. It effectively has all the options such air suspension etc. as options. So the badge is a very small part. As a mate once said those that know are in the minority & those that don't aren't petrol heads so don't care.
As for colour I think it looks stunning & beats the boring silver/black by a long way!

Yes, but why the need to lie?

Delusional ostentation.

As I said: very, very sad indeed.
