got caught out when a station was closed and i had to go another 10ish miles, it read 0 on flat ground, around left handers the litres went up to about 4 but it misfired, the sensor must be on the opposite side to the fuel line, so just go round rights

I pushed mine to 6L once & regretted it (if you know what I mean)! A phone call followed along the lines of “Can you bring me a can of petrol”

I've taken mine down to 1L once - I didn't know where I was going, following a friend and ended up on the M1- seeing how far away the petrol station was and how much was left, I hardly dared to touch the loud pedal - made it, though!

7L and below, I get a warning buzzer, tend to fill it up a.s.a.p when that sounds.

I had my Tuscan down to 1L a couple of times. My fuel gauge was very accurate.

After spending ££££'s prepairing the car for last years Le Mans, and taking all the precautions possible, I then completely let the car down by nearly running out of fuel.

I was having such a hoot, roof off, sun shining, didn't even notice the fuel guage or hear the buzzer.

Certainly tested the old pigeon French, asking for directions to the nearest petrol station.

I (Probably foolishly) have faith in the guage having been down to 2L on a few occasions.. Wouldn't risk it if you don't have to/don't live within a hundred yards of a fuel station!

Last Saturday picked her up from dealers with 17 ltrs showing, few miles up the road 8 ltrs, then up to 15 etc etc for 50 miles. Last read at home 7 ltrs. I dont trust it and tend to top up each week regardless.

Taken mine on several occasions to show 0 as well...

Most I ever got in was 55 liter, last Friday. Filled up in Belgium, drove to Dream Machines and all the way back to the station I first filled up (but opposite side of the motorway)
