How to get from Edinburgh to Knockhill

Wanting to go to the Knockhill BSB race's this year, would be flying to Edinburgh but would need to get from Edinburgh city centre to Knockhill, is there any public transport that does this route on the Sunday?

Get to Glasgow first, then a local route no doubt. Knockhill is in the middle of bleedin now-where though!

Surely another co enthusiast can be found to give you a lift?

hmm, Glasgow would be miles past knockhill from ed airport it aint very far, 22 miles, a taxi probably wouldn't cost to much

Taxi from Edinburgh to Knockhill? Probably cheaper to take a hire car!

If you fly into the airport, then to do public transport yuo'd need to take either a taxi to South Gyle station or Airlink bus to Waverley station. Theres then a train probably about every hour that goes to Dunfermline. From there either local taxi or one the day of a decent race event, quite possibly a shuttle bus. (possibly even ones from Edinburgh and Glasgow). Probably easier to post in Scotland forum or scrounge from a local thats already doing the trip!
