My crash wasn't really high speed (30-40mph).
The fire brigade took photos of it but I didn't I'm afraid.
Apparently the brigade use them to highlight weaknesses and they mentioned at the scene of the accident that the cockpit area had stood up to the impact really well. When I inspected the car at the repairers (it was a write-off) the cockpit looked completey undamaged - nothing was out of place at all.
Don't know if that's any help.

the info's great, thanks
Pics would be useful if at all poss . Here's the link to the race. As you can see, the route's pretty unforgiving and a fair few cars have offs . A proper roll car is essential and the fella looking for info is trying to see if Noble's up to the job in stock form

No "live" evidence/experience for you Tony except to say its felt that the Noble's safety-cell is up to the job except for the side protection which, in standard form, onnly comprises of low-beam protection and nothing protecting the mid-body region.
No pictures but I've seen several that have suffered big impacts - one at both ends on concrete lamp posts, I was told at 90 mph+ on the front end.
The only damage on the passenger cell was a crack in the windscreen where the washer jet had been forced in to the base of the screen.
They are tough little buggers but as AMG says not so good in side impacts.
You should talk with Plans Motorsport, Yellowshed (Trevor Jasper at Rousch) and Gary Reynolds at Crazyhorses they will have put a few back together again in their time.

Albeit un-crashed but rollcage pics can be seen here:- www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=104&i=3561
eg.
Paul and I have had to fit extra bracing on the cage to comply with UK MSA safty regs. Also we both have a drivers side impact bar because we think it's a sensible precaution.
