Passed one at the Lowry Hotel, Manchester earlier today. Looked special in blue with white stripes. Parked next to a Gallardo Spyder. Both very dirty. Nice to see them getting used in all conditions!

Tried to grab a photo but the doorman raced over and told me the owner doesn't like pictures being taken. Question is, why buy such a car and park is out the front of a 5* hotel on a Saturday afternoon if you don't like attention?!

Yes, one of the downsides of a 125yr old doorman is they aren't as quick as they once were.

I don't see how its a problem for the owner. They weren't in it.

Its on my phone. Not great quality either. I'll upload it later though.

They have a real presence. Never seen one in the flesh before.

Are you sure it was a GT40 and not a Ford GT?

The GT wasn't with the Pure Gt lot. It just turned up Saturday afternoon and we never did get to know who's they were.

There was a good 10 porkers and 3/4 CSL's parked in the disabled parking as well Saturday night

The Flying Spur was in our PureGT group, as were the many GT3's, GT2's, 996TT's, GT3RS's, CSL's etc.

I think the GT was/is Henrik Larrson's - he is resident there as he is on loan to Man U for a few months. He was down at breakfast on Sunday morning.

I bet that it probably belongs to Man U too as part of the deal
