A little bird tells me there is going to be a new version of the Gallardo announced at Geneva (hopefully a 'Stradale' type?), as the factory is keeping part of the Gallardo production line well under wraps..
The LP640 Coupe is not in production at this moment, the line is currently full of Roadsters. The supply of the Coupe is restricted because of the company supplying the Carbon Fibre bodyshells going out of business. However, Lamborghini have now bought this company which will also be supplying to Ferrari, and parts of Pagani bodyshells too..

Hopefully this will give sufficient differentiation to allow Audi to put the V10 into the R8 in circa 520 hp spec!! Great everyday car!
So today I took my kids to school and back, went shopping with the Mrs 3 times, all in the rain - I think the Gallardo is a perfectly good everyday car
Why would anyone buy an R8 for the same price as an 04 Gallardo?

1) Probably Less fragile for using EVERY day
2) Would allow me to keep my "proper" Lambo for weekends/special ocassions !
I found this press release a few days ago which is now on our website- "Lamborghini comfirmed that they will bring a special sportscar to the Geneva motorshow. The Italian car manufacturer will publish more information on the exclusive preview evening before the motorshow starts."

What with Koenigsegg and Spyker now under my belt, I can't really say no, and I am desperate to see what Lamborghini are up to.
I have been hearing stuff for ages, so finally want to see what the fuss is about.
