Hi Pete
I was thinking of giving www.shinynuts.co.uk a call tommorrow with a view to getting some maufactured for my Can-Am. They don't make any our size at the moment. I'll let you know the outcome. We might get the price down if there are a few of us wanting some.
Regards Dave

Stainless?
Actually they were chrome plated steel. They have held up much better then the originals. http://store.summitracing.com/partdet

I spoke to Jeremy at Shinynuts. I am sending him a photo of our wheel nuts with details. They might be able to modify one of their existing nuts to fit. He is sending me a sample wheel nut which I will see if I can modify on my lathe to fit our wheels. I'll keep you all updated on the progress.

Hi folks,
Has anyone asked Ultima about this ? The wheels on my GTR have been off three times as part of the ongoing build and the nuts are already flaking. I doubt there is an inexpensive solution but I'll see what Ultima says and post their answer here later. It's a shame the standard items are clearly not up to the job as it spoils the appearance of the otherwise perfect wheels.
Regards,
Tony

Same for me! Several months ago I took delivery of my body pre-fitted and weels etc, and I did complain to Ted and showed him the poor state of the new nut which were already showing signs of flaking and bubbling. Horrible quality I have to say!
Ted did promise he would look into it, but I have not heard anything back since!
So... I am a little miffed!
Shame as this spoils the otherwise high quality of product I have receievd so far!
C'mon Ted.....please get this sorted! A 'hapeworth' of tar...and all that!
OK, so maybe I will also have to shell out (again!) for these new ones you have found. Please keep us informed!
...and if so...Factory do I get a refund?????
