guys,
Without wanting to get laughed at I have lost my address bar on the top of my explorer session and whatever I click it wont come back, I have tried going in to 'view' and selected/deselected everything, I have also tried the tools options...

Help?

Are you sure the toolbars haven't been locked? this might explain why nothing seems to work.

to v8animal---
system RESTORE O.o (i'm assuming that your idea of restore and my idea of restore are the same ...I.E. format-reinstall windows)

all b/c of a address bar malfunction?!?!

that's drastic

to disco1---

the f11 thing that rob said might just do the trick

if not

you could try getting firefox or seamonkey, or maybe even opera, and just don't transfer your settings from w/e your malfunctioning browser is
(i have never used opera, but in my experience all of those browsers are better than IE)

View- Toolbars - tick next to address bar?
If so untick the "lock toolbars" and maximise your explorer window. Find the extra set of dots probably at the side of the "standard buttons" somewhere, hold down the left mouse button and pull the mouse towards you. Hopefully after you have tried a few times your errant address bar will appear.

nope i dont think your on the same idea as him.. My idea of restore is "Start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore" click next then select date to roll back to.

It just rolls back drivers and system filkes but NOT the My Documents folder.

Works a treat 80% of the time.
