Tail Tidies

Are they legal? I am currently looking at the R&G version, do you need to have a new plate cut or can a standard one be used?

Legal as far as I'm aware. I bought a generic tail-tidy from Halfords of all places, so I presume that if they can sell them, they must be legal.

I never had any bother from the police with mine and I've got micro indicators too, which are EU marked.

The police will probably only bother you if the no. plate is a bit iffy anything else will only ever come up at MOT time but most garages are pretty good with bikes.
