when the one lonely cop is setting up his fixed penalty cash machine outside fairfield bmw on the a127.

i first saw him on saturday morning at 7am,i was coming back from work and he was just starting to set the gun up(car cunningly hidden down the side of bmw).when i passed him yesterday morning(again,car hidden along the side of bmw)he had caught and was in the process of writing out a ticket out for some poor punto driver at just gone 7am.now what i couldnt see was why? the road was clear of any traffic,the visibility was good and its a dual carrageway with a too slow limit of 40mph,surely the cop could see this and just leave it for the drivers to decide for themselves what a safe speed to go along there is(most dont pass 55 anyway,even when it is clear.....apart from the m** p**** puzziez of an evening!).

but i can see he is after a promotion,a newer volvo or trying to brownose his way up the ladder.....

(i know,you shouldnt break the limit,blah,blah,blah but when you see southend plod break the limit wherever they feel fit you come to the conclusion that this is just pathetic.no bastard numptys for miles and you get collared by a jobsworth whitecap from chelmsford traffic on a frigging sunday on a dead dual carrageway!)

well,at least there will be one less talvan on the roads in the area!(thanks to a couple of truckers flattening the bastard!!!)
