Hi

Just wondering if the two bolts that hold the rear brake caliper on are normally really tight? I have managed to get one off but the other wont budge. I have soaked it in wd40 are there other ways of getting it off? Using heat? if so how is this done exactly? I cant get the disc off otherwise. Its a 94 chimaera.

Yes. They are tight and they are usually loctited as well. I use a 3/4 inch 1 meter long ratchet with a step down adapter and threaten the car with it. Usually shakes so much the bolt comes undone...

Thanks steve, though that they were bloody tight. I will have another go at them friday then.
