At long last overheating prob sorted. Had hose replaced but noticed still leaked and over heating, turned out I needed new rad. Booked in with Westover Bournemouth, and I lost her for a month due to garage attempting 4 x to fit rads. 1st one had to be hand made because of short supplies in ordering one. but when it arrived was too big, second wrong type, 3rd was damaged in transit and luckily fourth one in place. Thank goodness I took out the extra warranty offered for wear and tear. Cost a small fortune. Paid for itself in one go. Westover great though cant fault them.

Wow i had that when we first got the car. It was a pinhole, still kept it cooling by driving at high speed back from france to get it fixed!

Had my radiator replaced Friday whilst in for a 1k shim/tappet clearance check, damaged due to vibration, common fault apparently, would have cost £500 inclusive of parts/labour/vat,covered under warranty, total claims over £8k in 11 months (maybe a record) 99% perfect now,(cigar lighter intermittent) after 2 years and 25k road miles. Ensure its serviced no more than 200 miles beyond the next due service time.

OMG - presumably that includes an engine rebuild (or 2)?
Is it the TVR warranty or another company?

This includes 1 Engine/gearbox/clutch rebuild (at 24k) radiator, digital dashpod, door/window ecu, heater flap motor(x2)and other lower cost suspension/steering parts. The warranty is (independent of Tvr) with Autoprotect, cost including wear and tear option is £1347, which you can buy yourself after an inspection by a Tvr main dealer.

I dare say you will be renewing it!

I'm also with Autoprotect and I'm very happy with them - so much so that I went for a 2 year renewal without wear and tear.

Had new shocker, pod and (most of) clutch out of it so far.

Pod is away at the moment having replacement number 2 under warranty.
