928 S2 Lights



928 S2 Pop up head lights don't want to come on. Some times they do, sometimes they don't. Anybody know if there's a contact strip the bar rolls across. Getting feed through the relays.

IIRC from when I took mine apart, they're just wired like any other car. The motor for the raise/lower action is not relevant to your issue. I'd try the relay first. I believe there are actually a couple of relays and some other electronics in there.... if you ask on the 928UK list you'll probably find someone near you who would let you try their relay.

As I said on your other post....IT IS the relay faulty....almost certain....as suggested borrow one from any other 928...and try it...

It is the biggest DOUBLE relay...one half is for motors...one half for light switching etc...

Had same problem with mine....stripped motor and all linkages (took hours) ..didnt make a blind bit of difference....changed relay..all fixed
