Couldn't help but notice while depressing myself on values that you've got a blue 4.3 griff in the classifieds from a guy called Al Stocker. The car is in there twice once a month ago and again a few days ago now while in that month he has dropped his price by £1500 I can live with but has he really done and extra 20000 miles ! Something a bit odd going on me thinks.

Not so strange this one really.

I emailed the guy and he suggested I contact his TVR specialist to get the low down on the Griff so I did. They said " Yeah but it had a new speedo at 16,000." So I emailed him and pointed it out – he said he hadn't read the service book too well (it had been changed befoer he had it.)

So that is why the mileage has changed on the ad. May well be sold now though who knows!

on that subject there's another TVR (different model) which was sold via PH several months ago, it's now for sale again (on PH) by the new owner who seems to have reversed it through the 'time tunnel' for several thousand miles! Jeez and the two adds appear on the same page!

Any chance of a separate 'Parts & Accessories' section to the classifieds. We've got TVR specific parts section and there is a 'Race Cars - Parts' one but nowhere (unless I'm blind) to advertise non-marque/category specific car related bits. Not that I have a 3pt harness (that would fit many different cars) for sale or anything
