Would this be sufficient?

You'll have to excuse me as I'm not a teccie, so wouldn't know if this would do the job.

I know I also need to get a wireless adaptor for the 360 as well, would that pick the router up ok?

And also (while I'm asking), my room is in a loft and the PC is in a conservatory, would it pick the signal up ok?

Any help appreciated.

It almost certainly will be sufficient for the xbox and the PC. The only issue you may have is that the router may give you problems when playing XBL games (hard to connect to other players, VOIP stopes working) that can quite easily be fixed (setup static IPs/open ports 88 and 3074). You can sidestep this issues by getting a certified XBL compatible router. List below. Mine isn't one of them, and it took about 5 minutes tweaking to fix. Fortunately, the 360 has helpful diagnostics to tell you when you are having a problem.
