PS3: Whos pre-ordered?

I bought the PS1, PS2, Xbox, and 360, Super nintendo etc.. over the past 15- 20 years and never ever seen a good game out within the first 3 months of getting them. Apart from Wipeout which was a great game for the PS1

thats why I shall wait until they come doen in price, again as I got most consoles straight away i losy out big time on a fwew occashions

Not sure and I would not have thought so. Maybe 1 or 2 good games but you really need to have a google and see what you liek and whats coming out

Certaintly looks nice. Last F1 game I played to death was F1GP2 on the pc ! GP4 Still looks good however.

F1 scored 40% in Edge, though I think thats a bit harsh.

Resistance looks OK but to me it sounds like most gamea are poor ports from the 360.

the 360 had Gow and Oblivion, test drive PGR3 etc..plus forza 2 and Halo3, mass effect etc on the horizon.

Other than Gran turismo , Im really sony-ignorant.

Your right on the edge score beimng harsh - i've seen a scan of it and it reads like it was written by a 14 year old, which dosen't surprise me as edge tends to have a 'we're too cool to like this game attitude' - when every other magazine was giving one of the final fantasy games 9/10 and 10/10 the gave it a 6, just shows how out of touch they are.

The 360 ports are a symptom of being the last console to launch and the ps3s technical similarity with the 360, differences in graphics are down to how much effort the developers are willing to put in. A first party exclusive like f1 or gears of war is going to better in that it is designed for that particular console, while something like nfs carbon will be designed on one then transferred to the other or built as a compromise.

No order just a list of just a few consoles I have bought that had nothing for the first few months. much like my mothers Wii she had. about 4 good games out there. Zelda being the best by far. and its been out what 3 months

I get mine on the 23rd. Ordered it from play so I get the 3 bundled titles. Also ordered Ratchet and Clank 5 which to me is the killer app.

Other than Resistance: Fall of Man, not one of those games float my boat, hence if I get a PS3, it will be for the same reason as most others, and that is a cheap Blu Ray player.
