There's more than one prototype.

Doesn't look or sound very impressive on the video. Engine sounds like it's misfiring at the end.

I thought it sounded a bit rough too, notice you only see it pootling around at very sedate speed, especially for a car whose main selling point is its top speed, claiming to be faster than a Veyron!

my thoughts too,

but on a more serious note be pretty good if Melling could get the Hellcat of the ground..but to Le Mans in two years...very tall order, but good luck to him

Sounds off??

Doesnt Sound impressive???

Sounds like its misfiring????

I think if you listen carefull, it sounds almost identical to a decatted AJPV8

Id place my bets on the prototype mockup being powered by Al Mellings revised 32 Valve AJP V8

I think we were just stating opinions on what we can see and hear on the video, I for one certainly ain't knocking Mr Melling I really hope the hellcat lives up to the hype and turns out to be every bit the tarmac scorcher he claims it will be!

It sure as poop aint no V10 under the hood

Honestly Id put my money on that being some differing version of an AJP 8

The first clip where the Cer....I mean Hellcat flys past the camera, it sounds damn near identical to a Cerbie

Im not drunk I swear

PS:

I too wish him all the best and hope he manages to acquire TVR and beats smallendski to the bidding...god knows the last thing we need is that tw@t behind the scenes again

Come on Al

PPS:

Still sounds like a Cerb to me

So why haven't the magazines done a scoop spread yet??
Sky reporters wouldn't know a coventry climax from a Lotus DFV!

But at least it's not a 1/4 scale model......hope to see the thing in REAL action
He did say it was 2 years away.....saving for some spark plugs?

For all my trawling through any link i can find, I haven't seen one single interior shot.
The US manufacturing base sounds very promising, especially if the TVR buyout is not all hype.

you think he would at least go and get a fecking haircut!

as for the above comments, im fairly sure they didnt release a bugatti film of the veyron toasting around a track on sky news mid development did they? and for a car that was only released to public just a short time ago, to see it on sky news going round a track at all, is quite good!

car sounds like a cerb vote here!

Allegedly its not in mid development as AM stated two customer cars are in production in a press statement?
