Should I set the output frequency of my PC to 50 or 60 Hz? The TV is a Pioneer PDP 435FDE.
I had it set at 60 but the HDMI port seems to have been fried, I'm getting it repaired and will ask Pionerr, but does anyone have an idea if this might have been the cause?
thanks
Pete

Pioneer do have known HDMI problems.
Search AV Forums for it and you will see a bit of a list.
We have a problem with an installer who buried two 10m HDMI leads in the wall and he could not get the customers Pioneer screen and DVD player to sync over it.
