Web Analytics - Competitive Intlligence

Does anyone here know of any other company offering a similar service to that of HitWise?

In my company, we currently use WebTrends v.8 to analyse our web traffic, however I want to start benchmarking that against that of our competitors, and also analyse where they are receiving search engine referrals and we aren't etc.

Hitwise looked to fit the bill, but at £12k per annum it's a bit steep, over-priced in my opinion. I'm guessing they can charge this as there deosn't seem to be anyone else doing quite the same.

I've had a look at Nielsen - Netratings and that looks good but I don't know much about them.

Can anyone shed any light? I've posted on here first, as the thought of having to register and post on some Internet geek forum isn't playing to well with me at the moment, although I may have to resort to it eventually.

We use SurfAid from www.coremetrics.com/ as they meet our rather specific web reporting requirements (scholarly publishing) - they're not cheap though
