Tamora trip to France - recomendations & lights

Planning a trip to the Dordogne region, from Calais, planning on a stop over somewhere north of Le Mans, any suggestions on places to stay?

Also, how can I fit headlight deflectors to the Tamora, because of the perspex shroud?????

Went to the Dordogne in the Tamora last year, we stayed at a chateau near Tours on the way down - don't have the details with me at the moment but we found it by doing an internet search.

I don't think it's possible to fit proper headlight deflectors - I put a small amount of electrical insulation tape on the perspex cover to show willing! Just drive during daylight hours........
