And that's on top of the Nat Geo channel 9PM "Megastructures" episode yesterday, which was a tour of Ferrari's factory and the making of the 599 Fiorano... a MUST see. Incidentally, I think I saw some Masers in the shop floor... including a glimpse of a Maser 6-sheet type poster by the engine works

Hope for a repeat.

Saw the C4 Gumball yesterday (one eye on the TV, the other on my computer). It was good.

I saw this last night too, Gumball 3000 - Around the world in 8 days. Its regularly shown on channel 419 on Sky. Pretty much every night.

This years gumball entry feel is 28,000 GBP for new entrants and 24,000 GBP for previous gumballers, thats for one car with 2 drivers, every extra passenger is about another 14K.

THe route this year will be london to (i think frankfurt) then they dump all the cars on planes and send them to Istanbul - then drive back from istanbul to london.

I think 28K is a bit off for a eurogumball (the NY - LA was only about 10K) - and apparantly max is planning something big for the anniversary next year and the price will be even higher....

Cannonball are doing a USA run from NY to LA (or Miami to LA) for a 10,000 USD entry fee - the first price is some sort of tuned cobra, so i really do not know why gumball HQ keeps upping the price.

keep the riff raff from trying to touch up paris hilton i suppose.
