speed sensor

I am in need of a new speed senor and I was just wondering if anyone as changed one before and can offer any advice.

easy enough, its up on the rear side of the diff, cut wire to remove old sensor, crimp new wires on, screw it into place. it must be set to the exact distance given with the instructions, think the gadget for measuring the spacing is called a micrometer. my one was 24 thou.
i fitted mine and had a garage adjust the spacing as i dont have the measuring device.

I'd have thought that would be the ideal way to do it.

24 thou = 0.6mm gauge if you have a modern set.
