New Owner

Well, after a few posts and some very helpful responses (thanks guys) I put down a deposite on my 1st TVR yesterday

I went for this one here from James Agger Autosport.

Coming out of Elises and Caterhams it feels very different. I think the handling will be "interesting" until I get used to the car, but the engine is an absolute grunt fest and sounds terriffic. Although, I may have to take it to Offords for that cherry bomb conversion.

Anyway, a big for James. A top man to do business with. Hopefully this will prompt him to get my car ready for Saturday, so I can make the most of the weekend off

Well done, nice looking car.

If it's running standard suspension then save up for some adjustables then have it set up by someone who knows what they are doing, it will transform the handling.

Hi Gary, I am affraid I commited the cardinal sin of buying the 1st one I looked at, but it was such a nice example I couldn't help myself Best of luck with the sale mate

Thanks for the offer. I certainly will do if the car is ready. James was unsure wheter he would have the window rattle fixed in time for me to collect on Saturday, but I am going to keep calling him every 15 minutes until he tells me it is ready

Tell me more? I live just outside Hitchin, so the meet is no distance at all from me. But as mentioned before, it all depends on whether James can get the car ready for me to collect tomorrow. Fingers crossed

I totally understand - buying mine was a very similar experience and I haven`t regretted the decision for a second, as I`m sure you won`t either! Enjoy!
