I know this is a computer thread really - but I'm non-techie so it okay to ask in the P&P?

Basically I'm out of contact with Orange and was about to sign up for 18 months of Orange Weasel Package or something... I want the free broadband.

...however the little bird in the Orange shop said its being stopped very soon so sign up ASAP.

Anyone know if this is true & is it a good idea to sign up for 18 months of agro if Orange are ditching the broadband service?

I have had it for the last 6 months and am very happy with it. Not sure about them stopping it. May be worthwhile to go to another shop and asking about the BB.

Cheers Tycho - I might do that - I was wondering if she was just saying that to get me to sign 'there & then'...

It's a really good service. Download speeds of around 6meg, free phone-calls unlimited (well, cuts after two hours then re-dial), free wireless and 100 countries landlines (all on the site but inc most of EU, OZ, US, India, Russia etc... free). Oh and also free to other orange customers. All for £5 a month!!!!

You can also get the 2meg wired BB also but havent tried that and don't really see why anyone would go for that one with the benefits of the £5 package?
