Dad just got a parking ticket timed for 13.40, being "9 mins" out of the parking time....only...its only 13.20 now.....how disgusting is that?

Get a picture with the town clock in view! (if you have one that is!!) Might not be admissible in court, but it also might just place enough doubt that it'll be disregarded!!

I've just looked at it...he paid until 13.20..the ticket is for 12.40. He's going to the council now to query it. The phone call comes up on our itemised bill as 13.20 so that should be ok. He's not a happy bunny.

Got my lions a bit crossed there - he was fuming at the time..

Well the irony is that I've got to go and put another hour on the car for him as he's now stuck in the council offices sorting out the jobsworths. Don't want him getting a ticket on a ticket...

Sounds like the parking attendant (insert halfwit/moron/jobsworth as appropraite) misread the parking ticket expiry as 12.20 if they think it was over by nine minutes at 12.40, even though the maths doesn't add up. Would they really issue a ticket if parking was paid for another 40 minutes? [cynical mode] Perhaps they would. [/cynical mode]

Any peice of incompetent scum(amongst other words i cant post here for reasons of continuing decorum) sometimes referred to as traffic wardens are hardly going to be a prodegy. I mean these idiots, stoating around town scratching their fat arses, in their uniforms and squint hats. What did you expect them to have the ability to operate something as difficult as a calculator. Any glimpse through one of their ears and you can view out the other side, and i have to say this without any hint of surprise. So it should afford you no surprise that they cant count, or see, hear or understand - the one that done me had binoculars on that could pick up cable. Also their vocabulary is so limited to "duh, do you want me to get my supervisor". For this would only be a for any perceived question would one afford such a responce, for it is humerous to direct verbal obscenites in such language of which they have no grasp. One has to wonder what goes through their head, apart from air. What history we give to them, for they ones i would not call men, for they are below any realms of decency that we give to the most henious man, they are not people just stinking highwaymen, who do they think they are to rob us of our money. In our own towns and cities, and would say they are doing a necessary job keeping away commuters on a Saturday. So vast is the area they have to patrol, monitoring our cars that theyll never afford. Walking around all day, never sheds the load of lard on their arses, spending their loot on pies. And out in the rain of the days of scotland, appearances never depict one thats had a bath.
So what do we do with these bright yellow dummies? Condemn them to hell i shall, for the one that got me MR 649 in Edinburgh - Enjoy looking in may car, youll never have one, im sure the council gave you a good share of my money. Hope you kept those picture of my car you took i would have took some of you but i didnt have my wideangle. 649 and all other traffic wardens - you are turds. If you want to say i dont understand im blond but everyone knows you are dummies!

A poem, that has a message, that i spontaniously wrote, on my views of the day. That doesnt rhyme

Well after a wait at the council offices he was informed that he wasn't the first person to complain this week...

They are utter scum (wardens that is) I especially hate them standing by a car counting the seconds down.

No with traffic wardens there is only bad, to examine them i can only surmise that these people are generally unqualified, underachivers, traffic wardens hold no qualifications. Generally these people are fat and ugly, usually old men with long hair, probably unmarried or divorced with no kids, little money and boring. Becoming a traffic warden is perhaps their way of hitting out at all the people that have things much better than they do, that they will never have because their job is dead end. It is the only way they can excersize control over another person and the only way they will get the feeling of being in charge otherwise what would you say to them "who are you?". NOBODY. The rats that run the streets of the city only above the traffic wardens that run the sewers (perhaps i got that the wrong way round - perhaps not). So they are nobodys with nothing and no matter what they are the excrament of society, and i condemn them. I bask in their misery and curse upon their pitiful lives - for the outcast themselves from the normal person, such outcasted but not outlawed for they would deem us outlaws - for they are not part of our society and i do no recognise them as people in any civilised respect of the word.

I can read it perfectly well by the simple expedient of making a few allowances for the odd typo.

And jolly amusing it is too! It's terrific to seesuch an unreasonable level of loathing and hatred towards traffic wardens expressed so eloquently. It's almost biblical in it's construction. This is what is called in internet circles as a rant. It's primaraily what the world wide web was designed for. Live with it.

Well, he thinks more highly of traffic wardens than I do anyway.

Sounds like a good old fashioned attempt to obtain a pecuniary advantage by deception to me...Take out a private prosecution against the council !!

Or tell the local paper that the council admit that their wardens lie to post tickets on vehicles. They might want to follow up the story.
