Hardcore has better driving physics!
Have you tried playing it online, you will get bored if you keep playing by yourself!!!
But that list of new cars does look a bit crap to be honest

yes i was playing it online. the new car list looks a bit shite doesnt it
i'd have the RUF and the AUDI In case you haven't seen it, here's some detail on hardcore mode. It spells out how you will access it, and gives a screen shot showing the telemetry display

Some people online last night were claiming that they'd miss the mid-february date, and it'd be out end of the month. I am still hoping for Wednesday with the XBL update.

I got up to 59% and sold it today. I'd done most of the races, but I was just getting a bit bored of it. I may return to it when its knocking around for £15, but for now its been replaced for Crackdown, at the cost of £9 brand new!
I did make sure I got a few more of those achievement points though! And had a little blast in a McLaren F1 and Saleen. I got up to 257mph in the Saleen!
ING HELL!

First impressions - So far, I have tried the Enzo (S3), the F40, CSR260 (S3), the new merc, and the RTurbo. The F40 is definitely a sweetheart, like the f430. It feels pretty great. On the track at least, the physics feel good to me. However, it definitely fell apart a bit with the two S3 cars I tried. Overall, its a clear improvement, but at its heart it's still the same engine. The gravity issue is still there and its still feels like you crash through the shock travel (only way I can put it). Definitely worth the money if you have the game, and if you liked it before, you'll like it more now. However, I can't see it convincing people who didn't like the game before.
Like I said, only first impressions.
