Hopefully we'll be getting the update this weekend, which finally includes the proper 'hardcore' mode.

2. Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 Roadster 2005 - in game price $50,000
3. Audi S6 2006 - in game price $100,000
4. Ferrari F40 1987 - in game price $ 400,000
5. GM (Chevrolet) Corvette Stingray Convertible 1971 - in game price $45,000
6. Mercedes CLK GTR

Good to see another update/batch of cars, but I'm still a bit miffed the first pack never appeared -I'd hoped I could bedeck my character with a 'tache, cheesy '80s shirt, and go all Magnum, P.I., in a 308GTS!

Hardcore has better driving physics!

Have you tried playing it online, you will get bored if you keep playing by yourself!!!

But that list of new cars does look a bit crap to be honest

Well something obviously has gone arse ways (as usual), so maybe monday now

Yeah considering we didn't get Januarys pack, this should have double. I guess they are working on the other platform conversions and other games to.
Gits.

In case you haven't seen it, here's some detail on hardcore mode. It spells out how you will access it, and gives a screen shot showing the telemetry display

Some people online last night were claiming that they'd miss the mid-february date, and it'd be out end of the month. I am still hoping for Wednesday with the XBL update.

Freaking hell, what is wrong with Atari.

This was meant to be Jan's DLC, heh.

Yeah Im with you on that.
I would prefer TDU if:

True car sound
More twisty roads
More tracks
DLC on time

i agree ,once youve done the 100% of the roads and got champion status ,spent a hour or so at the race track it kinda fizzles out doesnt it

I got up to 59% and sold it today. I'd done most of the races, but I was just getting a bit bored of it. I may return to it when its knocking around for £15, but for now its been replaced for Crackdown, at the cost of £9 brand new!

I did make sure I got a few more of those achievement points though! And had a little blast in a McLaren F1 and Saleen. I got up to 257mph in the Saleen! ING HELL! cool

First impressions - So far, I have tried the Enzo (S3), the F40, CSR260 (S3), the new merc, and the RTurbo. The F40 is definitely a sweetheart, like the f430. It feels pretty great. On the track at least, the physics feel good to me. However, it definitely fell apart a bit with the two S3 cars I tried. Overall, its a clear improvement, but at its heart it's still the same engine. The gravity issue is still there and its still feels like you crash through the shock travel (only way I can put it). Definitely worth the money if you have the game, and if you liked it before, you'll like it more now. However, I can't see it convincing people who didn't like the game before.

Like I said, only first impressions.
