help please

need to find a drivers door window mechanism for my T350, the cable snapped and the motor still works but i have been told i need a whole new thing (£160) as a (£1.50 brake cable from a pushbike) cable cant be replaced on its own. i have phoned a few dealers but none have, either have bell hill breakers.

main problem- bloody typical as soon as i am selling the car (for a sagaris hopefully) it breaks, and have 3 people coming to look at it next weekend sometime, does anyone know of any mechanisms kicking around or if it can be repaired.

Give Ian Maddox a ring at Hanmer Auto Services in Wem, Shropshire.

I gave him a drivers door complete to fix mine when he was doing the paintwork and I am not sure how much of the mechanism he cannibalised!

He might still have something of use left over for beer tokens.

Hi hollowpockets - Ian from Hanmer Auto Services here - had a good look round after our conversation today - unfortunately I've no parts as they were used on coach's window as it was the same problem you have. Sorry can't help - you might have to bite the bullet and buy new
