Chaps

Popping over to France tomorrow in the Tuscan (God willing).
Any tips? I presume there are no problems getting the car on and off the train, given lots of ppl have done it. Any other tips for driving over there?

And how many cases of wine fit in the boot?

Tunnel should be fine - took the Tuscan on it with no problems.

Take the bottles out of the cases - our record in the Tuscan was 72 bottles, plus two decent sized holdalls! On the way home, the handling was a bit 'vague' - we found out later that we had been driving with a slow puncture....it wrecked the tyre, but the wine was fine!!

Have a great trip!

there might be cheaper ways of getting some bottles of wine, but with less fun...
enjoy!

Whatever the weather, you have to go roof off on the continent. It's important to keep up the image of being slightly mad.

I think simply owning one in the first place keeps up the 'slightly mad' image :P
The wine is an incidental (chateau weekend away for g/f birthday) but cannot help but cram a case or two in while we're over there!

Just hope the tom tom holds up fine and gets us to the end destination!

You will have no probs on the train....wife and I use it several times with our Tuscan as we live 20 minutes from the Tunnel. They should direct you on to lower deck and not up the top deck ramp.
Have a great weekend.
