I need to be able to take some footage for my forthcoming trip to Spain, so thought about buying one of these and attaching my camcorder to it. Has anyone ever done this before, as was thinking the vibration might be too much and therefore the film would be crap

Cheers.

Never used one. Have extensively used bullet cam's though. A bit of messing about with the setting up at first, but got a good routine now. Some of the chaps on here have also used a wireless one I think, there was a thread a while ago.

Cost might be an issue to you, but the results are excellent.

Yeah, my mate uses the bullet "system" but it looks like far too much hard work...I'm not particlarly technical!!

Check out the Maplin website - you can get a suction mount for £10 posted. The rubber suction cup may take out some of the vibration, though it may wobble more than bolted on mount - more versatile though!

I get my suction mount (mines from Hama though) this week so ill test it on Sunday
