Just after your opinions as to whether this a good price for a LHD 1994 993?

Blue with grey leather, 132,000 kms, full service history, german car, one UK owner - £20k

Also, with this sort of mileage what should I look out for?

Any opinions gratefully received.

Cheers

This may be the one viewed by Gunny recently. Maybe he will comment.

You can get early (ie pre Varioram) 993s in LHD for as little as 19k these days. However, this is not to say they are mint condition and need nothing doing.

A good starting point is www.rsjsportscars.co.uk - Joel sometimes posts here (he's even mastered lower case occasionally ) and seems like a nice guy from reports I've heard. His specialises in LHD 993s, Boxsters etc. and has a selection for about 23k. This is more realistic than going sub-20k as they should be good condition and need little doing for this price.

Dom, it's not the one I went to see.
My comment is all 993s are so popular no matter LHD or RHD.
Hence if the price is cheaper than others then there must be things to be fixed.
Go and have a look.

With that mileage (82,500 miles), I'd say 19-20K is about right. It still needs to be a good car for that money so get an inspection.

Pay the extra & get a proper one in RHD, he says putting on his tin helmet & climbing into the bomb shelter, whilst sweeping for mines !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
