question for Chim anoraks!

Hi all,just wanted to know if the Chim 450 came with an appropriate rear badge,like the 500,or did it just say 'Chimaera'?cheers,Mike

Hi Mark, are you open to commissions on this as i need a logo machined into a piece of stainless for the top of my new triple plenum set up?

Hi Andy i haven't finished it yet but it's looking bloody impressive at this early stage. I've just bought a pair of (i think) jaguar xj12 throttle bodies from the states, just need one more, then i'm getting new air box made from stainless so it should never have suffocation as all three throttles are externally 72mm wide, i will keep you posted though as i am in Whitley Bay so not far from you. I am now trying to locate a three into one pipe to allow the throttles to be fed with their air, probably go down the stainless route! Oh yes then i 2 weeks i am pulling the engine out for a stealth cam and if money/the missus allows, a de-catted manifold set up!

Well, I must have had one of the first 4.5 litre Chims which I ordered in November 1993 and which I picked up in March 1994 and it had a normal Chimeara badge.

Andy, I have photographs somewhere of my visit to Blackpool and others and will see if I photographed the back with the badge somewhere.

Found the photo's and yes it had a standard Chimeara badge.
It was a star mist green chim with a L 711 JTF reg.
Ahhh, wonder what happened to her, traded her in for a new 5L Griff at Henley Heritage in Henley.

my 97 R has Chimaera 450 on the rear badge. I also appear to have *some* of the facelift bits but not the new rear lights or recessed plate.
