The TVR 5 stud hub and brake upgrade kit,that is? Having passed up the opportunity to buy one of these kits 'when i didn't really need it',i now find myself needing one,or something very similar.I'd like to convert to the 5 stud hubs,and i'd definately like the TVR badged four pot front calipers,even if i have to get them piecemeal.Anybody have any ideas where etc?Cheers,Mike

When you say that you need one Mike is it for aesthetics or safety or just coz you want bigger wheels? Genuine question - are there any benefits to 5 stud over the 4 stud?

I want this conversion to improve the brakes to the spec that TVR were going to put on the AJP Griff.Personally i have always found the brakes good on the 500,and stopping from,say,100mph is going to be the same(if not easier)with an AJP engine,as it is with the RV8 in it,so the genuine 'need' is debateable really!I have to admit though,that the brakes on my Tuscan were definately better,and this is where i should be with this conversion.As for the hubs,it doesn't really matter if you have 5 stud or 4,but the wheels i'm after are only available in 5 stud,so that comes down to choice really.

Cant you get bells redrilled for 4 stud ~ that might make it easier to do what you want. The factory upgrade was only on the front brakes (really).

4 off wheels/tyres
new rear discs
new front discs
new front calipers+brackets
new front hubs
new rear hubs
New bolts etc

Maybe someone will add to the list

Hi Antony.Anybody know if the rear discs were the same size as std 500,but 5 stud,or were they a different size?

Pretty sure they are the same size Mike, in fact they are definately 273mm vented.
I used granada rear discs, and slightly opened the holes up.After all its the centre bore that is really important.
Ian @ godspeed brakes is the man to speak to. I am sure he would supply Granny rear discs(cosworth) and CNC re-drill them to suit the 114.3 PCD, obviously granny ones are the best to use as the new PCD can sit in between the original 5 stud configuration.

Looking at the installation doc, there werent lock stops, but I did forget the spigot rings!!
