Wondering if you chaps could help.

I would like a few 2-3 sentence reviews of the Cayman S . I am going to use the review on our website, so people who know nothing about the car will get some feedback from people who use them every day - essentially a sales pitch (ie positive reviews only)! This will be included with performance stats and an independent view supplied by us.

Any submissions to the website will be credited - we would like PH'ers to supply reviews for all our cars, so I am submitting this post to all the relevant forums.

Our car is a manual.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Bought one brand new from opc newcastle with 0 miles on clock, lasted about 4 weeks in it untill i traded it in for 997 c2s. Wasnt impressed with the car at all. 997 c2 is much better car.

I will probably get screwed for this by cayman s drivers, but its presonal preference.

Handling, a class above the Boxster, the 911 esque driving experience coupled with a relative defecit in power shows the only challenge is in the looks department!

The 997C2 is better, but it's more money. Is the extra cash worth the differences?????

The 911s dynamic little Brother, the Cayman S drives and handles with an alacrity that eludes most of its 911 contemporaries, whilst being marginally kinder to your wallet.

Unless your fleet has a Tiptronic, in which case your review should read "Well...it's probably better than a 924."

Edit - Probably. If the 924 was a bit knackered.
Edit 2 - I'd still prefer a 911, but you probably don't want that on your review.
