Hi, please put my mind at rest and tell me how the door mirrors are attached to the doors on my T350?. My driver side mirror housing is wobbling about and on removal of door card they just seem to be bonded into the door. I was expecting to just tighten up a couple of nuts but nothink is that easy on a TVR

I don't know how it's done on the T350, but the setup on most of the earlier models is taken from normal mass produced cars and is quite complicated. For example the Citroen mirrors used on the V8S, Griffith, Chimaera has a threaded tube bonded to the door, a boss screwed onto that, a small frame secured to the boss with a grub screw, and the mirror housing bolted to the other end of the frame. Perhaps your setup is something similar?

if you twist the whole mirror to 1 side you will see two allen key bolts under it you will need a long ball ended allen key or allen key socect

you dont need the door card card off hope this helps
