Any BiB in gloucester/gloucesteshire on here?
Discussion
The reason I ask is I had some old boy undertake me and then pretty much force me off the road intentionally and I must say I feel pretty shaken up by it because we just avoided hitting him.
The circumstances...
Quietly minding myself on the A48, which is dotted with 50 and 60 mph limits and a tiny dual carriageway. At the dual carriageway thats near the end of the A48 i was running on cruise control (its a lot easier to check your speed) and i accelerated upto 70 for the dual carriageway when he was behind me, he immediately started flashing lights so thought it may have been you BiB but as I was within the speedlimit I was not worried. He dropped back I continued at the speed limit. Turned onto the a40. At the lights where the road of newent joins he caught me up and put his headlights on full beam, after the lights turned green he undertook me, cutting up a lorry in the nearside lane, accelerated alongside me and as he approached the car in front on his lane he basically swerved out forcing me to brake sharply. I consider myself a very experienced driver and i am more shicked that someone would be so stupid and also that he was old enough to be my dad ie in his late 60's!
We wrote his plate down, but as we dont really know the area too well, we did not know where the police station was to report it.

So you sat in the outside lane after leaving those lights, you can cross the hatchings if it's safe to do so!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, report him, they may get more calls and are more likely to do something if he is persistant!
What type of car was it, I'll keep an eye out for it.
They need to ditch that juncition anyway and force people up to the roundabout if they want to turn right, but thats a another story!
(I take it it's this junction!! www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=51.8725&lon=-2.2889&scale=5000&icon=x)

I prefer to have loonies in front of me rather than behind me.
Can you honetly say, hand on heart, that you didn't have an opportunity to let him overtake you in the DC section?
to be honest he was never close and I accelerated away, hence why I was confused by his action! Can you honetly say, hand on heart, that you didn't have an opportunity to let him overtake you in the DC section?
