Hello chaps

Getting into the fettling of my new toy and what plugs are other people running in 4.3 precat griff's?

Mine is fitted with NGK BP7ECS and I used to run BP7ES in my old wedge now these 7ECS's are completely different and look to be a much 'colder' plug than my old favourite.

Although the 'recommended plugs are B7ECS,the BP7ES run just the same i found,and are much cheaper!If you go to a RV8 specialist,for example,they all tend to use the 'ordinary' plugs,rather than the ECS type,same goes for Landie dealers and indies.
The heat rating is the same,as they are both rated as 7 in the heat range.

The ECS variant has a stronger ground electrode so is more resistant to mechanical damage from detonation/knock... of value if you run it hard on track or run lots of advance but I'd happily use the standard variety for road too.
