I assume that you people who have 3's have actually put fuel in them by now

So is it normal unleaded all the way, super + all way, or a combo of both?

Depending on which, do you stick to a particular brand of fuel?

Cheers - Phil

Don't have a GT3 just a Boxster, but when I was digging around on fuel types the general consensus seemed to be to stick to Super Unleaded unless it wasn't possible.

Admittedly many replies did come down to "why bother for the sake of £4 a fill-up". Personally I always use Optimax, mainly as there is a Shell on the way to/from work which is also busy. I recall reading it makes sense to buy fuel from a busy Petrol Station as it is likely to be fresher (apparently the potency "drops off" with age?).

I am running super unleaded all the time - almost 100% Shell V power. Shell was in the car when it dyno'd 435bhp.

FWIW, my 996 GT3 (which has a common engine lineage with the slightly spicier lump in the 997) has been on a diet almost exclusively of Shell (formerly 98 Optimax, since superceded by 99 V-Power) since I acquired it last year.
